 After 25 years of success in leadership positions, Todd Ordal founded Applied Strategy in 2004 to help other executives be successful because he knows from his experience that it is lonely at the top.
Todd enjoyed 20 years at Kinko’s where as Division President he had accountability for $500,000,000 in revenue, 300 stores and 7,000 people. He opened over 100 locations and added critical management strategies and practices to manage this large growth. Todd joined Kinko’s in its early stages and helped lead the company to its eventual $2 billion position and—as a board member—participated in its eventual sale.
Todd has also been a successful CEO in two different industries: sporting goods (where he turned a negative growth/7 figure loss to a 30% growth/7 figure positive bottom-line within 2 years) and learning disabilities testing and remediation (start up to $3.5M run rate in 18 months). Todd has also served on numerous boards of directors, both non-profit and for-profit.
Todd has a BA in Psychology, a Masters of Business Administration and is a Certified Professional Coach. He serves on several boards and is the President of the Colorado chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants.
